Enter and spread estimates

Whether you're spreading resources or trips in a task, the process is the same. After entering how much work a resource will put into a task, or after entering how often a trip will occur in a task, spread the estimated amount with a specific curve. Or discretely enter amounts in each month or year of the task. If needed, you can adjust the spread period within the task's period of performance.

For resources, you can enter an estimated amount of hours/units/cost in the intersecting cell of a task. The amount will then be distributed with a default spread curve. You can also enter the hours/units/cost amount in the resource estimate details.

Unlike resources, the estimated amount of trips distributed in a task can only be entered in the travel estimate details.
