Update travel in trips

You can update the travel expenses in trips with the most current rates and resources in your proposal's travel rate table. If the table's data changes, use the Update feature to apply the new rates and resources to any existing trips.

Travel data can be updated at the proposal level, the proposal breakdown structure (PBS) level, the task level, and the trip level. That means you can update the expenses of all proposed trips, or just the expenses in one PBS element, task, or trip.

Each time you update travel data in a proposal, you can review the results in the Update Travel Report.

To update expense rates, you need the correct Estimates permissions. Make sure your role can access the Update feature and edit the Travel Expense Rate feature.
